As we approach Thanksgiving we reflect on many reasons to be grateful. We would like to thank all our many clients and customers who quickly become longtime friends. In addition, our awesome staff that pull it all together for your great experience while shopping our sales. It is for this reason we send out this note and dedicate in memory to our friends..
Jessie T. Cruz
A bit of sad news one of our dear friends who helped many days and nights in many ways the preparation of and staging sales has passed away. Jesus (known to most as Jessie) Cruz, many of which know him as “the one who polishes the silver”. Jessie was quite meticulous in his work and always no matter how late the last one to finish with “just a minute I have one more piece to finish then we can leave”. Jessie was a great buddy to Joe and a constant companion to his wife Linda. We ask that if you could remember them in your prayers for that peace that is so longed for especially for his family as they continue to mourn his death. Should you wish to attend his funeral arrangements are as follows for Jessie T. Cruz
Visitation & Rosary: Monday, November 28, 2016, 5pm – 7pm, with Rosary at 7pm, at Guardian Funeral Home (5922 Crosstown SH 286 Corpus Christi, TX 78417) Funeral Mass: Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (2233 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78418) Burial to follow Funeral Mass at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37 Access Road, 78410 Corpus Christi, TX)
We will miss you Jessie and will always have fond memories of good times …… watch the Cowboys now from the best seat in the house.
In addition, we have a client that many of you had the great opportunity of sharing in your lives as well. Cindy Hughes, she was a teacher at Schanen Estates Elementary School and recently retired this past summer. We assisted in the liquidation of her household goods as she prepared to relocate to Arkansas. As Cindy traveled to her new destination tragically she was killed in a fatal car accident. Cindy was a stranger when we first met seeking help in the downsizing/liquidation of her estate moving forward with her plans to relocate to Arkansas. As we worked alongside Cindy we came to know her and her fur babies Gypsy and Toby. Cindy was full of life and vigor, excited to start her new life in Arkansas to be nearer to her parents. Cindy was very giving of her items, shared many great memories, and laughter as we joked and worked alongside each other. She loved Teaching, her job at Dillard’s, Friends and Sorority Sisters. She loved the ocean, many loved her fish mobile that hung in her home where the sale was conducted. We will truly miss her I still can’t believe it. As she passed so did Gypsy friends forever. May she rest in peace and may the Lord comfort her dad during this time and season in his life. As always please keep them in your prayers for strength and savoir-faire.
Cindy’s Memorial Service will be as follows:
